Dear Puma Families,

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Executive Administrator of Monseñor Oscar Romero Charter School. Having dedicated over 17 years to the students and families of the Pico Union area, I am deeply invested in the success of this vibrant community. I am proud to lead a school where academic excellence, equity, and a safe, nurturing environment are the cornerstones of everything we do.

My journey in education began in the classroom, serving as both a 6th and 8th-grade English teacher before transitioning into leadership as a Director of Instruction. These roles allowed me to develop a passion for coaching teachers and cultivating leadership at every level of the school house. I believe that when we empower our educators and staff, we create a ripple effect of high expectations and strong morale that directly benefits our students’ achievement.

At Monseñor Oscar Romero Charter School, our mission is to provide an inclusive and rigorous learning environment where every student is seen, heard, and supported.
